I am the granddaughter of Dona Nenzinha, daughter of Maria Evani, and mother of Mariane. I am a Black woman, a teacher, and a poet, passionate about education and writing. I am a psychopedagogue and pedagogue with degrees in literature, history, and philosophy. I am a dedicated writer and committed educator. My personal and professional journey has been a constant pursuit of inspiring learning and a love of art and writing in my students and in those who appreciate my journey as people in need! She holds a master's degree in Development Dynamics of the Semiarid Region from the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco. She is currently a PhD candidate in Agroecology and Territorial Development (PPGADT) at the State University of Bahia.

Mestre em Educação, Cultura e Territórios Semiárido pelo PPGESA – Universidade do Estado da Bahia - UNEB – Juazeiro – DCH III (2024), pós-graduado em Ensino Superior e Docência no Contexto do Semiárido pela UNEB, campus VII – Senhor do Bonfim (2008), licenciado em Pedagogia pela UNEB, também campus VII – (2003) e 2º licenciatura em Letras Espanhol pelo Centro Universitário Leonardo da Vinci (2022). Professor da rede pública, foi diretor e vice-diretor escolar, coordenador pedagógico. É escritor, poeta e artista plástico. Foi presidente e vice da ACLASB. Tem sete livros publicados. Participou em antologias nacionais e internacionais. Fez intercâmbio em Santiago do Chile. Fez pelo mestrado, intercambio na Itália cursando Pedagogia Intercultural na Universitá de Pádova.

Ilza Carla Reis
Ilza Carla Reis is a mother, a country woman, a teacher, a writer, and a PhD candidate in Cultural Criticism. She is a member of the Feminine Poetic Brotherhood and Mulherio das Letras collectives, through which she has published in several collections. Her texts have been published on the Oxe Portal (Portal of Contemporary Bahian Literature) and in digital magazines such as Diversos Afins and Ruído Manifesto. In 2020, during the pandemic, she conceived and coordinated the project "Literature in the Palm of Your Hand." Her poem "Sertão de Dentro" (Inside the Backlands) won an award in the national competition "Poetry in Every Being" in 2020. She has published two books: Poemeadura (2018) and No meio do caminho, Poesia (No Meio do Caminho, Poetry).

João José da Silva Carrilho is a physics teacher with a master's degree in Astronomy Teaching and a member of ACLASB (Senhor do Bonfim Academy of Letters and Arts). The author of several books, he explores lyrical, philosophical, and metaphysical poetry, chronicles, short stories, scientific literature, fiction, children's literature, and Northeastern cordel, always with the aim of awakening emotions and reflections in his readers. He is inspired by the simple philosophy of everyday life, finding the raw material for his writing in observation of the world and its people. He is dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge, uniting science, art, and imagination.

Professor, Artist-Educator, Actor, Theater Director and Clown (DRT/SATED-BA - 3729); stage name (Benedito Oliveira-Benas). PhD student in Performing Arts, PPGAC/UFBA (2019 in progress); Master in Education and Diversity (MPED/UNEB, 2017); Specialist in Art in Education: Music, Theater and Dance (ÚNICA, 2022), Specialist in History, Urban Culture and Memory (UNEB, 2012), Graduated in Pedagogy (UNEB, 2010). Coordinator of the Research Line: Circus and Popular Culture of GruPANO (Research and Extension Group in Performing Arts of the Brazilian Semi-Arid Region). Founder and Artistic Director of Trupe do Benas.

Pedagogue from UNEB (1993); Specialist in Educational Systems Management from PUC Minas Gerais (1997); Master in Education from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi, Canada (2003); and PhD in Education from FACED/UFBA (2006). Adjunct Professor at UNEB in the Department of Human Sciences III (DCH III), Juazeiro, BA. Permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Education, Culture and Semi-Arid Territories (PPGESA). He is currently deputy director of DCH III/UNEB and coordinates an adult literacy project called "Literacy is not a bogeyman, it is a right and the basis of citizenship." As a writer, he works as a columnist, short story writer, and poet, having published the poetry books Come-tendo Poesias (1987) and O Mesmo Outro (The Same Other) (2011). In academic writing, he published Research-Creation (2012), Facing the Boogeyman (2022), Polylogy (2022) and Urban Spring (2025).

Karina Andréa da Silva Faria
A professor in the Bachelor's Degree in Theater at UNEB, she is a researcher in the History of Brazilian Theater. She holds a degree in Sociology, a Master's in Business Administration, a specialization in the History of Brazilian and Western Theater, and a PhD in Performing Arts. She is an actress, theater director, singer, playwright, and producer. She is the author of the book A Saga de Celina: palco picadeiro e rádio na trajetória de uma atriz nordestina (CRV, 2020).

Nilton Freittas is a singer, composer, instrumentalist, arranger, and music producer from Uauá, Bahia. Since childhood, he has performed at school, religious, and cultural events, standing out for his talent and versatility. He is one of the composers of the song "Boato Ribeirinho," featured in the soap opera Velho Chico (Rede Globo) and recorded by artists such as Elba Ramalho and Targino Gondim. He has released several albums, including "Caminhos," "Meu Xodó," "Belo Sertão," "Voz do Sertão," and "Belo Chico," the latter nominated for a 2022 Latin Grammy. His work encompasses forró, xote, baião, cantoria, ciranda, ballads, and MPB.

Rafael Carneiro de Araújo
Rafael Carneiro de Araújo was born in Valente - Bahia, Brazil, on August 26, 1982. Since the age of 15, he has been writing poetry and song lyrics, not yet published. He graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Salvador. Postgraduate/specialist in Labor Law, Labor Procedure and Social Security Law. He works as a lawyer in the Bahian cities of Salvador, Senhor do Bonfim and Valente. Member of the Academy of Letters and Arts of Senhor do Bonfim-Ba. Author of the books: O Defensor - A Origem de Kcarc (2014), Patmos - O cerne (2016), Réseau Weber (2017), Marilando (2021) and Reverdecer (2023).

She is an Adjunct Professor at UNIVASF – College of Social Sciences (Juazeiro, Bahia). She is co-author of the books "Getting to Know the Semiarid Region 1 and 2" and the children's book "Mundinho do Rio." She is an Education researcher with an emphasis on curriculum, culture, religion, pedagogical practice, and textbooks in the semi-arid region. She also works in the Anthropology of Religion, focusing on the body and religions of African, Indigenous, and Roma origin. She is a member of the Brazilian Semiarid Education Network (RESAB), the ECSA-UFBA Center, and the Narratividades group (UNIVASF).
