PEDAGOGICAL ORGANIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION

This book stems from the master's dissertation produced in the Graduate Program in Education and Culture in Semi-Arid Territories (PPGESA) at the State University of Bahia (UNEB). Cleiton de Oliveira Lima's achievement of a master's degree makes him a winner, because for field workers, especially elementary school teachers with extensive workloads, reaching a strictus sensu postgraduate degree is no easy task. Dozens of challenges make this journey exhausting. The author provides readers with a framework for how Vocational and Technological Education has developed in Brazil, helping us understand the different concepts surrounding school educational approaches that influence the relationship between education and work, highlighting the characteristics that define and demarcate differences and similarities between the pedagogical organization of the two institutions.
